Mentoring Space

You are invited to the mentoring space (previously known as mentoring puzzle garage), an initiative started by Aalto’s computer science department postdocs. Everyone is welcome to join these lunch meetings! Bring your own lunch and we’ll bring something sweet for dessert.

The aim of this relaxed program is to promote cooperation and exchange experiences among researchers to shape and enrich their careers at Aalto CS Department. This informal setting will enable and present early-stage researchers with the chance to draw from the experiences of ‘those who have been there themselves’. You are welcome to come and talk about motivation concerns, questions about your next steps, or just draw upon mentors’ experiences as a collective. If you’re unsure what to talk about, or just want to join, you’re also welcome to come play some puzzles and meet researchers from your department.

As part of CS departments initiative to address diversity issues whilst everyone is welcome to the group, we are specifically encouraging women researchers.
